Ghost Adventures and Colin with Paranormal Files have both visited the huge. 37,000 square foot courthouse & 18,000 square foot jail annex, and have done episodes inside, with paranormal investigators coming from all over the States to do their ghost investigations.
 The historic Grand structure has much documented evidence of paranormal activity!

"Ghosts of the Ramada", haunted Hotel tour.
This is a 2- hour, paranormal adventure in which you are shown how to use the ghost hunting equipment and led through the imposing building by your professional paranormal investigator!
This iconic, beautiful hotel has been in Las Cruces since 1976.
This is a grand hotel, over 65,000 square feet of rooms hallways and corridors, including an attic!
Mysterious encounters by both past and present employees recall hearing disembodied voices, getting touched when no one is around, their names being called, electronics turning on and off by themselves, the front desk receiving telephone calls from unoccupied rooms, and even a mysterious woman seen walking the long hallways at night.

Hosted by: Southwest Paranormal Adventures (SPA) & Paranormal Research Investigation (PRI)

We will be hosting a unique 4-hour paranormal class/investigation that will be conducted in the historic Dona Ana County Courthouse & Jail built in 1937.
The class is a hands-on workshop and is 2 hours, followed by a private 2 hour investigation in the courthouse & jail to use what you have learned!

You’ll learn about equipment usage, proper investigative techniques among other learning opportunities during the first two hours.

Afterwards, apply what you’ve learned in a special two-hour investigation of the “active courthouse and jail” as seen on “Ghost Adventures" as well as "The Paranormal Files".

Explore the areas where voices, footsteps and “shadow figures” have been seen and recorded.

Conduct investigative sessions in the old jail cells and third floor “insane room” (identified on the original floor plans) among other places.

Who knows? You may just record something “from beyond”.

We had a paranormal investigation team called Ladies of the Light visit the Courthouse to do an investigation in January, 2022. I took them upstairs and out onto the roof of the courthouse to show them the night view of the city before starting their investigation. 

Their medium, Dawn, (Two Dawns in their group, we will call this Dawn, Dawn 2) was drawn to the Bell Tower right away and asked how deep it was. I thought that was an odd question and answered "only to where we are standing on. She stated "no, its deeper than that". She stood by the Bell Tower for a minute and then reached up and took a picture with her phone inside the North facing window screen into the interior. 

The 1937 Bell tower has 4 sides, each side has a large screened window. 

The Bell Tower never had a bell installed. 

As we walked back inside the small entry way that leads back into the courthouse, she checked her phone to look at her pictures she took on the roof. She was surprised at the shot she took inside the bell tower and so am I. 

This first pic was taken by her at 8:30 pm at night. But the sky looking through the South facing window shows a midday sky. The scenery in the picture does not match up to what is normally there. 

She told me back in the courthouse that she heard a women tell her "This is a portal", when she was standing next to the Bell Tower that night.

 What I didn't know at the time was when I was walking Dawn 2 back to the entry way to the Courthouse, the team leader, also named Dawn, (we will call her Dawn 1), went by and reached up and also took this picture with her camera as well of the South facing window, shot from the North facing window.

I might add , both these ladies could not see inside the windows because they are set higher up in the Bell Tower sides.

She caught the same anomaly Dawn 2 caught. Can you see the obelisk near the center? 

Again this picture was taken at about 8:30 pm at night, very dark sky out.
